
A Chinese luxury brand is seeking a strategic leader to oversee the start-up, growth, and expansion of their brand in the US market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing country-specific marketing and public relations efforts to ensure the brand's acceptance and growth in the US. They will also oversee all aspects of the brand's business operations, including sales, marketing, store operations, real estate, finance, and HR functions, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence. The role will involve providing direction for store operations, driving sales growth, maximizing merchandise margin, and focusing on customer service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have overall brand management experience with a solid retail and luxury industry background, preferably in apparel. Experience with new set-ups and familiarity with US local real estate are preferred, as well as the ability to travel frequently between China and the US. The role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment with the potential for future IPO opportunities. The candidate must be open to all nationalities, with Chinese language skills required for effective communication with the China headquarters.
