
The Department of Educational and Human Development is seeking to expand its team by hiring faculty members to contribute to the Colleges Quantitative Clinic and future statewide center for educational research and evaluation. The current clinic offers statistical and methodological support to faculty and graduate students, including consulting services, training, research collaborations, and evaluation services. The new faculty hires will help grow the Colleges capacity for research in Learning Sciences by complementing existing expertise in areas such as Learning Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Quantitative Methodology, Educational Measurement, and Evaluation. The University and College offer support for dual career hires, relocation expenses, and generous start-up packages for new faculty members.The successful candidates will be responsible for leading a robust, externally funded research program that advances knowledge in educational data science, machine learning, AI applications in education, and advanced quantitative, measurement, or evaluation methodologies. They will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conduct research that transforms learning environments. The physical location of the position is in Clemson, South Carolina, with potential travel requirements.
