Description

The position involves communicating policies, decisions, and directives from the Trustees to residents and staff, as well as implementing and enforcing these policies. The role also includes serving as a conduit for residents and staff to communicate concerns to the Trustees, promoting the facility through various market strategies, and developing avenues of communication with congregations for marketing, fund development, and ministry enhancement. The Director will report significant information to Trustees on corporate-related matters, direct the development of annual budgets, provide leadership in strategic planning, monitor financial performance, conduct evaluations, develop organizational charts, implement policies, recruit and employ a workforce, provide training and education, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain effective fund development, public relations, and marketing efforts. Additionally, the Director will be involved in community programs, attend educational programs, participate in professional organizations, work beyond normal hours as needed, and represent the organization at various functions and events.

Overall, the Director will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring financial viability, providing leadership and guidance to staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and actively engaging in community and professional activities. The position requires a strong commitment to ethical principles and corporate character, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, develop and implement policies, and lead strategic planning efforts.
