The Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Director to lead a new Savannah Innovation Team (i-team) in Savannah, GA. The i-team will work to tackle big problems in the city, generate ambitious responses, and test interventions until they produce impact. The Director will work closely with the Mayor, city leadership, and departments to change the culture of city government and deliver impactful solutions. The Director will be based in Savannah City Hall and report to a senior government official.
The Director will lead an equity-centered, design-based innovation approach to problem-solving, collaborating with city government colleagues, community organizations, and stakeholders to drive climate action and advance racial wealth equity. They will manage the diverse skill sets of the i-team, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and oversee the development and submission of grant deliverables. The ideal candidate will have experience leading large-scale transformations, managing high-performing teams, and working effectively with government, community, and private sector leaders. The salary range for i-team Directors across the country is $115,400 - $202,000, with adjustments based on local market and cost of living data.
