Our client, the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University, is seeking a Director to lead a new Philadelphia Innovation Team (i-team) as part of the Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities initiative. The Director will work closely with the Mayor, city leadership, and community organizations to tackle big problems in the city, generate ambitious responses, and test interventions until they produce impact. The Director will lead an equity-centered, design-based innovation approach to problem-solving, collaborate with stakeholders to drive climate action and advance racial wealth equity, and oversee the development and submission of grant deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading large-scale transformations involving multiple stakeholders, managing high-performing teams, and working collaboratively with government, community, and private sector leaders. They should have a passion for equitably reducing climate pollution, addressing climate change impacts, and improving conditions for historically disadvantaged communities. The salary range for i-team Directors across the country is $115,400 - $202,000, with adjustments based on location and cost of living.
