The Donegal Women's Centre is seeking a voluntary HR Board Member to join their team. The client is dedicated to improving gender equality, opposing discrimination, and eliminating violence and injustice towards women. They offer a range of clinical and counseling services, as well as training in health and wellbeing areas such as family planning, women's health, ante-natal and menopause clinics, and group sessions for migrant women. The client is a registered charity governed by a Board of Trustees and funded by various state and semi-state bodies.
As a Charity Trustee, the HR Board Member will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the client's governing documents and overseeing the organization's HR policies and procedures. This is a voluntary position and will involve working closely with the Board of Trustees to support the client's mission of promoting equality and inclusion for women. Shortlisting for the position will apply, and the successful candidate will play a key role in helping the client achieve its goals of supporting women and advocating for gender equality.
