The Health Science Director will lead efforts to build the client's Health Unit, identify emerging trends, and cultivate strategic partnerships with stakeholders worldwide. Additionally, they will oversee budget management, program development, and project implementation to support our client's mission and impact in the field of microbiology.
The ideal candidate for the Health Science Director role will have over 10 years of experience in microbial sciences research or management, with a deep understanding of health-related microbial sciences. They should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, experience with globally focused initiatives, and familiarity with funding policies and grant administration processes. The candidate should also demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to diversity, collaboration, and innovation. A Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred for this position.
