The job opportunity involves leading the Quality Control department for our client, a prominent player in the Biotechnology industry, overseeing a team of 500+ individuals. The role entails direct collaboration with company leadership and regulatory bodies to ensure quality standards are met. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and be responsible for all QC activities, setting departmental vision, and ensuring high-quality product delivery on schedule. Additionally, the Head of QC will provide leadership, technical expertise, and bioanalytical support for preclinical and clinical studies, as well as lead the team through regulatory audits and digital QC system implementation.
The ideal candidate should hold a PhD or Post Graduate degree in Life Sciences with 25-30 years of experience in QC functions, specifically within Biologicals/Biosimilars/Life Sciences. A minimum of 20 years of experience in the field and at least 5 years in a Quality/Quality Control leadership role is required. Candidates with a predominant background in Quality Assurance will not be considered for the position.
