Our client, a renowned company in the TMT space in South East Asia, is seeking a seasoned sustainability leader to join their full-fledged sustainability team. Reporting directly to the C-level suite, the successful candidate will lead a team of 4 with diverse backgrounds and be responsible for ensuring the company stays ahead on ESG compliance, reporting, and strategy. The role also involves advising senior leadership on critical ESG issues, their impact on the business, and aligning business strategy with sustainability goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a sustainability leader in either an in-house or consultancy environment, with a solid understanding of the Singapore market and ESG reporting standards and frameworks. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential for presenting a convincing case to stakeholders on areas that need strengthening from a sustainability perspective. While prior industry exposure in TMT sectors is a plus, candidates from other industries will also be considered for this leadership role within a well-established ESG function with strong support from the leadership team.
