
The Head of QC (Analytical Laboratory) is responsible for overseeing the quality and compliance of the laboratory in accordance with cGXP guidelines. This role involves leading a team of specialists, managing laboratory processes, and ensuring optimal performance while staying within budgetary and regulatory constraints. The Head of QC plays a crucial role in audits, implementing new methods, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key responsibilities of the position include ensuring adherence to USP/Ph. Eur./JP standards, managing CAPAs, audits, and procedure implementation, as well as developing and motivating a skilled team. Operational management tasks include overseeing timely and accurate analyses, equipment maintenance, and validation processes. The Head of QC is also responsible for translating global objectives into local strategies, collaborating with international teams, and optimizing resources while proposing improvements and investments.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in analytical laboratory operations, experience with quality and compliance standards, and a proven track record in team leadership and operational management.
