The search firm is assisting a National Charity in their search for a Head of People, a newly created role responsible for leading a small people function and shaping and implementing the people strategy with a focus on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. The salary for this position is up to 55,000 + benefits, with remote working options and occasional travel to Bristol and London. The Head of People will oversee the full employee life cycle, manage policy and procedures, drive continuous improvement, and handle complex Employee Relation cases. This role involves a blend of HR Operations and Strategic HR, with line management of a team of two direct reports.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing people strategy, leadership, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, stakeholder management, talent management, employee engagement, change management, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior HR generalist role, preferably in the not for profit or charity sector, and be skilled in EDI initiatives. They should be a forward-thinking leader with the ability to motivate remote workers, lead organizational change programs, make high-level decisions using HR data, and have excellent stakeholder management skills. This role is ideal for an HR professional looking for a head of role in an SME organization who is passionate about the value-add HR can bring and ED&I strategies.
