The Head of Manufacturing position at the client, a multinational food company with two production plants in Spain, reports to the General Manager Spain and the VP Operations Europe. The main responsibilities of this role include ensuring that the site, equipment, plant, and people meet health and safety standards, meeting Product Safety & Quality targets, ensuring labour standards are met, and monitoring departmental budgets. The Head of Manufacturing will also work closely with the Plant Accountant to understand financial performance and provide commentary for the UK Month End Review process.
Overall, the Head of Manufacturing will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the production plants in Spain to ensure compliance with internal and legislative health and safety standards. They will work towards meeting business Product Safety & Quality targets, reducing customer complaints, and ensuring labour standards are met. Additionally, the role involves monitoring departmental budgets, providing updates on progress, and collaborating with the Plant Accountant to understand financial performance and provide commentary for the UK Month End Review process.
