The Head of IT position is responsible for developing and implementing the client's technology strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and identifying emerging technologies to enhance business operations. This role involves leading, mentoring, and managing the technology and spatial teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and managing technology projects from inception to completion. The successful applicant will also oversee the maintenance and security of the client's IT infrastructure, manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, and optimize technology spending and investments.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, a minimum of 10 years' experience in leading teams and managing IT systems, and demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and services. Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, project management skills, cybersecurity knowledge, and experience in presenting to boards and building relationships with external stakeholders are also required.
