The client is seeking a new Head of Finance for its Spanish subsidiary. Reporting to local General Management and Corporate Finance, the role involves ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and treasury regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing tax obligations, overseeing cash flow and banking relationships, leading budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights to management, and managing compliance with internal/external audits.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, tax, treasury, and financial controlling activities. They must be familiar with local and international accounting standards, have strong analytical skills, and be able to provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will also be responsible for managing compliance with corporate guidelines, internal/external audits, and overseeing IT systems.
