The client is seeking a Head of Childrens Commissioning (Quality & Contracts) for a minimum 6-month interim contract in North-West England. This full-time hybrid role will require on average 2 days on site per week, offering up to 600 per day through FCSA Umbrella inside IR35. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Quality & Improvement, the main responsibilities will include negotiating contracts with residential providers and establishing a QA Framework for them. The successful candidate will also provide strategic leadership to the multi-agency children's safeguarding partnership to ensure high-quality services for children and families.

Key duties for the Head of Childrens Commissioning will involve reviewing and negotiating high-cost contracts with Residential Providers, as well as implementing a QA Framework for external providers. The role will require strong leadership skills to drive the delivery of safeguarding and quality assurance services within the children's social care sector.
