This is a group level role with our client, an established retail player currently undergoing a transformation phase. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors and involves leading the corporate strategy department to provide thought partnership to the executive leadership team. Responsibilities include shaping business planning, conducting market and competitive analysis, driving operational process improvement, and managing organizational change across regional markets.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in corporate strategy at a group or regional level, with a track record in change management and influencing decisions at the C-suite and Board level. Candidates with a background in retail or FMCG industries will be preferred. This role offers high visibility and direct reporting to the Board of Directors, providing an opportunity to drive effective change implementation and strategic direction within the organization.
