The President of Newman Theological College is responsible for leading the institution in providing Catholic theological education and forming future leaders for the Church. Reporting to the Board of Governors, the President works collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure the College remains a dynamic center for theological formation in Western Canada. Key responsibilities include providing academic and spiritual leadership, fostering community relationships, overseeing operational and financial health, supporting governance, and collaborating with St. Joseph Seminary to integrate formation experiences.The President plays a crucial role in advancing the College's commitment to academic excellence, pastoral service, and Catholic values. This includes promoting a mission-driven approach to theological education, building and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, ensuring effective management of resources, supporting governance bodies, and collaborating with the Foundation of St. Joseph Seminary and Newman Theological College. Through visionary leadership, the President guides the College's academic programs, operational functions, and community outreach to align with Catholic teachings and educational standards, ultimately strengthening the College's mission and impact in the community.
