
The Director of Facilities Management at GEF Seniors Housing is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, improvement, and overall functionality of the client's physical infrastructure. This includes tasks such as building maintenance, capital improvement planning, life safety compliance, environmental stewardship, security, and asset management. The role is guided by the client's Quality of Life Philosophy, policies, procedures, legislation, and provincial standards, with a focus on contributing to the integrity and optimization of the client's facilities.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Facilities Management plays a crucial role in supporting the client's Mission, Vision, Values, Strategic Plan, and Sustainability Framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing key strategies and objectives that align with the client's goals. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of facilities management.
