Our client, a leading healthcare provider in Northern Florida, is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join their dynamic 8 Physician Practice. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive inpatient care for a wide variety of patients, performing daily rounds, monitoring patient progress, and coordinating care with specialists. They will also assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses, as well as provide hospital call coverage for 1 local hospital.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution, with 1 year of Gastroenterology experience preferred but open to Fellows. They should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and have a valid medical license to practice in Florida or be eligible to obtain one.
