A rapidly growing FinTech company is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. The client's core mission is to revolutionize the way individuals save and grow their money through innovation and technology. With significant recent investment, the business is expanding operations and serving a growing customer base. As the Financial Controller, you will work closely with the CFO to establish robust financial processes and controls, develop accounting processes as the business scales, and implement new finance technology. The role offers the opportunity to drive transformation within the finance function and ensure timely and accurate financial results.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant with experience in audit and senior finance roles, preferably in a data-intensive environment. They should have experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, and a strong understanding of financial systems and processes. The Financial Controller will lead the financial reporting and accounting function, develop financial strategies to support growth objectives, manage cash flow and capital expenditure, ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and oversee the annual audit process. Additionally, they will be responsible for selecting and implementing a new ERP and EPM product, as well as providing ad hoc support to the CFO on companywide projects.
