Our Firm is partnering with a Global Professional Services business to hire a Financial Consultant for a 6-month interim contract focused on a critical reporting project. The client, backed by a prominent Private Equity fund, is currently facing challenges in their back-office operations that are essential for growth. The Financial Consultant will be responsible for overseeing and improving revenue recognition processes, specifically focusing on Work in Progress (WIP) accounting to ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide strategic insights for financial operations.
Key responsibilities of the role include managing WIP accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS 15 standards for revenue recognition, preparing financial reports and analysis, tracking costs associated with WIP, identifying process improvements, and communicating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with hands-on experience in revenue recognition and WIP accounting, with a strong background in Management Accounting and attention to detail. This is an outside IR35 engagement based in London, requiring three days in the office per week, and immediate availability is preferred.
