
The Executive Director of Development & Alumni Engagement is responsible for leading and overseeing our client's fundraising and alumni programs, campaigns, and operations to drive engagement and support. Reporting to the Vice President for University Advancement, this role involves planning and executing our client's Centennial Campaign, managing donor relationships, and building organizational infrastructure for successful fundraising. The Executive Director works closely with senior leadership, the Board of Trustees, the Foundation Board, and the Alumni Association Board to support the organization's goals through fundraising and alumni engagement efforts.In addition to serving as the senior fundraiser and alumni engagement professional, the Executive Director manages donor stewardship, engages with potential donors and organizations, and trains organization leadership in philanthropic best practices. This role also involves directing fundraising staff, acting as a backup to the Vice President, and fostering a culture of philanthropic giving within the organization. Responsibilities include planning and directing fundraising campaigns, identifying and stewarding major gift donors, managing donor recognition programs, and collaborating with various departments to increase philanthropic support for programs. Travel is also required to engage with donors and alumni on behalf of the organization.
