The Opportunity Under the leadership of Dr. Don Feinstein, who has served as Executive Director since 2003, AUSL has grown from a local organization serving the city of Chicago, to a national nonprofit with an $8 million budget, impacting thousands of teachers and students across 6 states. After twenty years of service, Dr. Feinstein is retiring from his long-time role. This is a remarkable opportunity for a talented leader to join a passionate and dedicated team of AUSL staff, educators, Board members, and partners in enhancing and continuing to deliver on AUSLs mission while building on its 20+ years of service. As AUSL enters this next chapter, it seeks an exceptional Executive Director to scale the organization while building on past successes. This leader will develop a new strategic plan that will lead the organization to achieve even greater levels of strategic impact, innovation, and influence while maintaining AUSLs strengths, which include a talented staff, strong collaboration, and a solid reputation in the field. Compensation & Benefits Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The compensation range for this role is $200,000 240,000, with a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, commuter benefits, discounts on services, and sick, vacation, and paid holiday time.
