The Managing Director role is with a global manufacturer of consumer durables, offering a fantastic opportunity for a solution-sell based Commercial Managing Director. The company aims to be a prominent global provider of equipment and solutions to the food industry, working collaboratively with key customers, partners, and employees. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy, identifying growth opportunities within the HORECA & QSR channel, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution, managing budgeting and financial reporting, cultivating client relationships, driving innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading a high-performance executive team, enhancing brand image, and mitigating potential risks.
Ideal candidates for the role will have experience in a General Management/established Managing Director role, knowledge of consumer manufacturing in a non-food consumer goods capacity, in-depth knowledge of the HORECA & QSR channel, international experience with a passion for driving international growth, strong financial acumen, experience managing a P&L, a track record of leadership and successful market expansion, and the ability to be based out of the West Midlands distribution site with regular travel across Europe. The position offers a six-figure basic salary, performance-related bonus, executive package including car, pension, health care, and more.
