
The ideal candidate for this position will have significant experience in environmental assessment in Western Canada, with a focus on organizational and project leadership roles. Experience in industries such as mining, forestry, renewable energy, or other significant industrial projects is required, and experience working with Indigenous groups will be considered an asset. Candidates with government environmental assessment experience at the federal, provincial, or municipal level with exposure to large heavy industry projects are also encouraged to apply. Knowledge of BC's Environmental Assessment Act and the Canadian Impact Assessment Act is essential for this role.
