Our client is seeking an Editor who is passionate about local government, digital media, and public service journalism to lead the newsroom in its next phase of growth and impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to journalistic excellence, strategic leadership skills, a creative and innovative mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace. The Editor will be responsible for overseeing the editorial strategy, operations, and content of CommonWealth Beacon, collaborating with the CEO and staff to ensure the organization delivers on its goals of outstanding journalism, community engagement, and financial sustainability.
