Our client is seeking a Director who is passionate about driving positive change through philanthropy and community impact. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the Foundation's activities, ensuring alignment with its mission and values, and collaborating closely with stakeholders both within and outside of Summa. The successful candidate will possess operational expertise, strategic vision, and a commitment to making a difference in the community. Reporting to the Chairman of Summa Foundation and COO of Summa Equity, the Director will be based in Stockholm and will be responsible for executing the long-term strategic plan, managing day-to-day operations, and cultivating positive relationships with donors, partners, and community members.
The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of experience in the impact and philanthropy sector, with a strong understanding of philanthropy, social impact, and community development principles. Experience in project management, program development, and evaluation, as well as the ability to analyze and present data effectively, are essential for this role. Knowledge of grant management processes and fundraising principles is desirable, and fluency in English is required. The Director will play a key role in overseeing grant-making programs, monitoring program outcomes, and engaging Summa Equity employees in community contributions.
