Our client is seeking a Director for the University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading UCSUR in its mission to support researchers and educators in the social and behavioral sciences, as well as promoting translational research that benefits the local community. The Director will also oversee UCSUR's role as a hub for community-engaged research at Pitt, fostering collaboration and innovation in this area. The Director of UCSUR will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the center's impact and visibility within the university and beyond. They will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of UCSUR, including budgeting, staffing, and program development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social and urban research, as well as experience in leadership and administration within an academic setting.
