The Commercial Sales Director opportunity is with a global industrial materials and minerals processor serving various industries. The Sales Director will be responsible for the commercial P&L of the product segment, focusing on driving growth from current accounts and acquiring new customers. Working closely with the Director of Operations, the Sales Director will set marketing, pricing, and growth strategies for the segment, managing a small sales team and collaborating with other departments to execute sales plans and activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, with 10-15 years of sales experience in materials and minerals. They should have 3-5 years of Sales Leadership experience, a hunter business development mindset, and familiarity with industries such as ceramics, polymers, mining, and coatings. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills are essential, along with the ability to travel extensively in the North American region.
