The Director of Philanthropy will be responsible for leading the fundraising efforts and developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the organization's mission of supporting families with children diagnosed with terminal pediatric cancer and providing opportunities for children attending Title 1 schools. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors and community partners to cultivate relationships, secure donations, and manage donor stewardship activities. The Director of Philanthropy will also oversee grant writing, special events, and donor communications to ensure the continued growth and success of Janes Fund.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in fundraising and philanthropy, with experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, and event planning. They will have a passion for supporting families facing pediatric cancer and a commitment to providing opportunities for children in underserved communities. The Director of Philanthropy will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to engage with donors and community partners to advance the mission of Janes Fund. This individual will be a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve fundraising goals and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those served by Janes Fund.
