
The Director of Patient Financial Services will be responsible for working with other departments to improve the revenue cycle, establish metrics for accurate cash collection, and provide ongoing training for billing and collections staff. They will oversee Business Office activities, manage a team of direct reports, and provide analytical reports related to accounts receivable, denials, and payment accuracy. The successful candidate will also develop department operating budgets, ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and regulatory requirements, and assist with the integration of the Urgent Care division to Meditech.Additionally, the Director of Patient Financial Services will lead a major upgrade or conversion of patient financial systems in FY 2026, develop a patient financial services strategy aligned with the hospital's mission and goals, and help with the upcoming EMR conversion. The preferred candidate will have at least five years of leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare business office, as well as a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
