The Director of International Programs at our client will serve as a liaison between the foundation and priority places such as Mexico and Haiti, leading strategic initiatives in these areas and globally as needed. Responsibilities include providing visionary leadership, implementing the foundation's strategic plan, developing networks in areas such as education and health, and representing the foundation with governments and media. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of grantmaking experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, management experience, and fluency in English with knowledge of another language such as Spanish or French.
The Director will work with the foundation's leadership to recruit and support an international team, establish implementation plans and budgets, oversee grantmaking processes, and ensure effective administrative systems are in place. They will also be responsible for fostering teamwork, communication, and collaboration within the foundation and with external partners, as well as staying informed about global trends and issues. The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from $201,000 to $276,000, with a generous benefits package.
