The Director of Institutional Philanthropy at our client will be responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate and foundation partners to ensure long-term financial sustainability for the organization. This individual will cultivate and steward relationships with high-capacity funders, while collaborating with various teams within the organization to achieve fundraising goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, strong communication skills, leadership experience, a passion for the mission of the organization, and the ability to effectively convey the organization's vision and impact to diverse stakeholders.
Our client is a comprehensive college completion program that supports students from underserved communities in achieving a bachelor's degree, with a focus on investing in each scholar over a 10-year period. The organization, which began in 1997 with 25 students in East Palo Alto, now serves nearly 5,000 alumni and scholars across multiple states. The Director of Institutional Philanthropy will play a key role in advancing the organization's mission by securing funding from a variety of sources and building relationships with partners who share the organization's commitment to educational equity and opportunity.
