The Director of Groups at our client is responsible for overseeing the assimilation process within the church, ensuring that individuals are connected to the church and other believers while growing in their relationship with Christ. This role involves creating systems that encourage continuous spiritual growth and a deep understanding of the beliefs, values, and mission of the church. The Director will also work to create a culture of community within the church, developing and supporting small group staff and leaders to promote health and growth within the church community. In addition to overseeing the assimilation process, the Director of Groups will recruit and train small group leaders, create systems for tracking individuals within the church, and implement training programs for all ministry areas. This role requires attention to detail and a willingness to perform tasks outside of the normal position description as needed. The Director will work closely with department leaders to develop and implement training programs, ultimately fostering a strong sense of community and spiritual growth within the church.
