
The Director of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will report to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and oversee the management of the office, including funds management, reporting, policy development, scholarship administration, compliance oversight, and processing operations. With a budget of $220 million annually in federal, state, and institutional aid and scholarships, the Director will also focus on staff development and creating a culture that promotes student success and a positive public image for the university. As a member of the Enrollment Management Leadership Team, collaboration with various departments and offices within the university is essential for success in this role. The Student Financial Aid and Scholarships Office, led by the Director, consists of a team of 23 staff members, 10-15 student employees, and an annual operating budget of $2.1 million. The Director will work closely with colleges/schools, athletics, advancement, and other enrollment management departments to ensure effective administration and compliance of financial aid and scholarships. This position plays a crucial role in promoting a positive image of the university to students, parents, contributors, and community members, while also striving to enhance student success and support a culture of excellence within the office and across the university.
