A midsize distributor near McCutchanville is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee an established team of accountants, with responsibilities including financial statement review, GL maintenance, executive presentations, and managing banking relationships. The ideal candidate will have an executive presence, managerial experience, distribution experience, and a CPA qualification. Additionally, the Director of Finance will be responsible for variance analysis, treasury management, process improvement, and ensuring US & Canadian tax filings are completed.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, ideally in a mid-large size company, and will be able to effectively communicate data with department heads, problem solve issues, and coach and supervise the accounting team. This role will also involve ad hoc reporting, driving relationships with operational departments, and liaising with the accounting firm. The Director of Finance will have the opportunity to take on additional duties as the client delegates them, making this a dynamic and growth-oriented position within the organization.
