Our client is seeking a Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to work closely with all members of the school community to promote a welcoming, diverse, and equitable experience. The Director will lead efforts in faculty recruitment, student retention, diversity programming, curriculum development, and trustee and alumni engagement. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a diversity and equity plan, promoting a school culture that includes students from diverse backgrounds, supporting diversity programming and student mentorship, and collaborating on faculty recruitment and retention. The Director will also work with the admissions team to recruit and retain students from diverse backgrounds, provide professional development on DEI issues, and network with other independent schools and cultural organizations.
Candidates for this position should have a bachelor's degree and substantial experience in diversity work, including supporting students from underserved backgrounds in educational settings and fostering increased inclusion and equity. The salary range for this role is approximately $125K-$140K, and our client offers a dynamic work environment and generous benefits.
