The client is seeking a Director of Development for their Data Center Delivery team. This individual will report to the SVP of Global Delivery and will be responsible for overseeing the entire development and construction process for data center projects worldwide. This includes formulating strategies, managing site feasibility assessments, obtaining external approvals, coordinating infrastructure delivery, and estimating costs.
The Director will be tasked with developing and implementing selection processes for general contractors, MEP contractors, and consultants, as well as conducting risk assessments and providing ongoing project supervision. Collaboration with other departmental leaders and the Global Data Center Environmental team will be essential in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center development and construction, with a focus on driving efficiency and innovation in the delivery process.
