The Illinois Network of Charter Schools (INCS) is seeking a Director of Community Impact to lead efforts in developing partnerships and strategic relationships that benefit school communities and surrounding neighborhoods. The ideal candidate will engage with parents, community members, and organizations to share positive stories about charter schools, educate allies on the charter movement, and cultivate goodwill among influencers who can support charter schools in Chicago and throughout Illinois. Our client is a statewide organization with 143 member schools serving 65,000 students, striving to provide high-quality public education options and drive reform in the K-12 sector.
The Director of Community Impact will play a key role in furthering the charter public school movement and strengthening K-12 schooling in Illinois. Responsibilities include engaging with policymakers, school leaders, parents, and community members to create systemic change, secure high-quality schools for underserved communities, and advocate for charter schools. The successful candidate will lead community impact and engagement efforts, developing partnerships that support the mission of providing high-quality education options and transforming communities through the charter model.
