The Resort in Costa del Sol is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with mandatory experience in the hotel industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the annual budget, conducting financial forecasting and reporting, and overseeing the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. They will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, monitoring operational costs, and implementing cost-control measures to enhance profitability. Additionally, the CFO will collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies, manage relationships with financial stakeholders, and lead, mentor, and develop the finance and administration team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in finance and administration management roles, with a focus on the hospitality industry being a significant advantage. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, strong analytical and reporting skills, and excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities are required. Fluency in Spanish and English is also necessary, with experience in the Spanish market being a requirement.
