The ideal candidate for this position should have at least five years of experience working in in-house legal practice, with exposure to property law being an advantage. They should also have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, guidelines, policies, and practices, particularly within a large and complex organization. Experience in governance regulations, compliance, and risk management is also required. A tertiary qualification in law is essential for this role, as well as holding a current Practising Certificate in Victoria. It is highly desirable for candidates to have at least 15 years of post-admission experience. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability to interpret and implement relevant laws and regulations effectively, while also having a strong background in property law and experience in a corporate setting.
