Our client, a leading UK Corporate & Investment Bank in London, is seeking a Director of Infrastructure and Project Finance to drive the strategy and origination of complex structured project finance deals across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of industry contacts and experience in leading origination activities, collaborating with internal and external partners, and mentoring junior staff. Responsibilities include structuring transactions, presenting to credit committees, and maintaining relationships with clients, sponsors, and advisors to enhance the bank's reputation and secure new business.
The successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of the Infrastructure and Energy sector, experience in lending and advisory roles, and a proven track record of closing transactions as an underwriter or lead structuring bank. Familiarity with different financing structures, regulatory requirements, and deal experience in the Energy and Digital Infrastructure sectors is preferred. The position offers a competitive package and a hybrid work style, with at least two days per week spent in the London office.
