
The Director, Gift Planning will be responsible for leading and managing the planned giving program at our client, working closely with frontline fundraising staff, the Chief Development Officer, and the organization's management team. This position will play a key role in maximizing planned giving efforts during our client's largest fundraising campaign in its history, which is expected to include a significant planned giving goal. The Director will focus on securing planned and complex gift assets, with a particular emphasis on gifts of $100,000 and above, and will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and qualify prospects.Our client anticipates growth in revenue from realized planned gifts, with an average of $2.7 million annually, and is approaching $100 million in charitable assets under management. The Director will work to grow the pool of donors in the Summit Trust legacy society, while also cultivating and soliciting them for current and deferred gifts. This position will align staff and volunteers to advance our client's mission and strategic priorities, including inspiring outdoor experiences, protecting critical landscapes, fostering a diverse community, and promoting equity in the outdoors.
