The client, a well-established Catalan company, is seeking a Director General for their organization. Reporting to the board, the main responsibilities of this role include establishing the overall strategy, overseeing daily operations, managing the profit and loss account, defining and executing a growth plan, leading the management committee, and representing the company in public institutions and external organizations. The Director General will also be responsible for managing personnel and ensuring their optimal performance, as well as establishing the overall definition and operation of the company as part of the management committee and advisory committee.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in economics or business and will be tasked with defining and implementing the company's global strategy. They will need to identify growth opportunities and expansion into new markets or product lines, as well as establish strategic alliances and collaborations to strengthen the company's competitive position.
