The Director Europe Government Engagement - Nordics and Baltics position is with a global payments business based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The role involves delivering a holistic and scalable approach to Government Engagement across the Nordics and Baltics to drive consistency in narrative and advocacy efforts. The Director will identify strategic engagement opportunities to influence regulatory setups in digital payments and related policies, provide advice for executive engagements, and develop a comprehensive market-based strategy. Additionally, the role includes managing a team, ensuring seamless cooperation to meet goals in alignment with the client regulatory and business strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in relevant corporate positions, regulatory or government agencies, or consultancy in the payments industry or financial services. They should have a strong network of regulators and policy makers in the Nordics and Baltics, as well as people management, crisis management, and communication skills.
