
The Director of Equal Opportunity and Access (OEOA) and Title IX Coordinator is responsible for overseeing client-wide programs, policies, and procedures to ensure equal employment opportunity, non-discrimination, and equal access. They also provide guidance to the President, conduct special projects, and represent the President's positions on issues related to discrimination, harassment, diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, affirmative action, and access. The Director leads the OEOA office, supervises staff, and manages case investigations, while also serving as the client Title IX Coordinator to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
In addition to overseeing all aspects of client, agency, state, and federal laws related to equal opportunity and access, the Director of OEOA and Title IX Coordinator plays a key role in promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment. They work with various constituents to address issues of discrimination and harassment, and develop strategies to enhance diversity and inclusion within the client community. The Director is responsible for affirmative action reporting and ensuring that the client is in compliance with Title IX and the Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act, while also serving as a resource for students, faculty, and staff on matters related to equal opportunity and access.
