We are looking for a commercial property developer and leader with at least 10 years of experience in commercial or real estate development, particularly in building communities. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience leading others. They should have a comprehensive development vision and strategy related to major land development projects in Alberta, as well as expertise in project management, construction risk, and costing. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong network and relationships with the local development community and municipality.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of commercial properties, inspiring and mentoring a team, and ensuring projects are completed successfully. They will need to have strong leadership skills, the ability to coach and oversee others, and a proven track record of delivering results in the commercial property development industry. This role requires someone with a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
