Our client, a private equity-backed veterinary services provider in California, is looking for a Director of Business Development to establish relationships with veterinarians and their practices. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in sourcing and building relationships with potential targets in a high-velocity M&A environment, with relevant experience in veterinarian or healthcare/physician-based businesses. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Director of Business Development will support and facilitate cross-functional communication throughout the acquisition process.
The main responsibilities of the Director of Business Development include establishing relationships with veterinarians and their practices, supporting cross-functional communication during the acquisition process, and sourcing potential targets in a high-velocity M&A environment.
