Our client, an international automotive equipment manufacturer, is seeking a General Manager for their operations in Tunisia. Reporting to the Director of Operations in Europe, the General Manager will oversee all activities in Tunisia, including budget preparation, performance improvement initiatives, and infrastructure and personnel investments. They will be responsible for managing the production site, ensuring cost, quality, and timeline adherence, implementing production strategies, and optimizing production organization. Additionally, the General Manager will lead human resources strategies, represent the company to the administration, and maintain a positive work environment and communication between departments.
The successful candidate will have a degree from a top engineering school and at least 10 years of experience in industrial management, preferably in the automotive sector. They should have a strong background in results-oriented leadership, continuous improvement, industrial performance, and quality techniques. Strong communication, technical, and financial skills are essential, as well as experience working in an emerging market. This position offers a competitive salary and package and is based in Tunis.
