The client is seeking a General Manager for their program in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The General Manager will be responsible for implementing the strategic plan and financing program of the Fund. They will be tasked with mobilizing financial resources from international donors, national governments, and the private sector to support biodiversity conservation efforts in the DRC. The General Manager will work with NGOs, community organizations, and government agencies to allocate funding to conservation programs and projects on the ground.
The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and strategic planning, as well as a strong background in conservation and biodiversity. They will be based in Kinshasa and will be responsible for ensuring the sustainability of the Fund's capital and allocating it effectively to conservation initiatives.
